I was born on the island of Grenada, in the West Indies and before age four said that I will play the harp. I started playing the piano at 2 years old, continued piano studies at McGill Preparatory School of Music when I came to Montreal, Canada and completed up to college level in Piano Studies. My first harp was a Lyon & Healy Troubadour which I bought in 1980 and started lessons at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada
In 1983, I purchased an Aoyama concert harp. After enrolling in the International Harp Therapy Program, I bought a 25-string Serenity therapy harp that I call my baby harp and love it for its clear and mellow tone. This is the harp that I played for my CD In the Meantime – Harp Therapy for Reflection and Tranquility.
